Outlook 2007 Very Slow with Gmail IMAP Account
I want to use an IMAP configuration with my Gmail account and Outlook 2007.
Unfortunately, Outlook 2007 is unbelievably slow when synchronizing message headers. In Outlook Express the messages fly into my Inbox and load very quickly. I have disabled all add-ins and selected to just download message headers. Still it takes forever for Outlook 2007 to do a send and receive. What can I do to speed up Outlook 2007? Why does Outlook Express offer better performance than Outlook?
