Importing Distribution Lists
I am trying to import a distribution list from a a computer using Outlook
2003 to a new computer using Outlook 2007. I successfully imported contacts, but my distribution lists did not come thru. I went back to the old system and emailed them all to me. I can open them on the new computer, but cannot save them. My internet searches say I should just be able to right-click and 'save as distributiobn list,' but I do no have that option. I do have the option to 'save as' but it just takes me to Windows Explorer, and not sure where to save it so Outlook sees it as a distribution list. Can anyone help? -- Bonnie |

Importing Distribution Lists
Distribution lists cannot be imported and are local only.
If you actually are trying to restore your Outlook 2003 data on an Outlook 2007 machine, then do not use import/export at all but simply transfer your pst-file and reconnect it to Outlook via File- Open- Outlook Data File...
