No trouble accessing 3 hotmail accounts, but do with others
I have 3 hotmail accounts and have no trouble accessing them with Outlook
2007. However, I cannot get my yahoo account nor my account with a local college to work properly. I "manually" set up my accounts (with the correct pop and smtp), I do a "test connect" and it does "connect", but then fails. I've tried everything (it seems) from having Outlook configure the accounts itself. I get successful, but when they try to connect they fail.

Unless you have a paid Yahoo account, you cannot access Yahoo using Outlook (without the YPops add-in). Have you spoken with the college's computer center to ask them for the correct configuration? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
