I recently had to remove my personal profile from my computer and start
afresh. When I came to restore my mail settings I imported the old Outlook data file that I had backed up from. C:\Documents and Settings\jennert\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook This restored the contacts and calendar items fine but I also have two IMAP mail accounts that were not restored. When I imported the data files that were associated with these in the same directories it appeared to import the already downloaded messages but not the actual settings. After fiddling a bit I eventually restored the IMAP mail accounts from scratch. I guess what I'm asking is where are the settings for IMAP accounts stored and how can I back them up so I can restore in a more efficient fashion should I need to do this again? Cheers Tom |
