Default Outlook 2003\Exchange 2000 - "Unable to display the folder" in inbox

I uninstalled and reinstalled office. ran outlook /cleanfreebusy
/resetfolders without luck. Checked mailbox size, deleted ost, ran as
cached and a new profile that was non-cached.

the thing that fixed it was outlook /cleanviews. Ran that and it froze
up a bit, but instantly started working when it loaded.
