Hi,
When I configure my pop3 account with all the appropriate info (e.g. incoming/outgoing server addresses, etc.), I enter my user login and password (with "remember password" selected), then finish the wizard... When I select the send/receive button a "Enter Network Password" box opens up. It shows the server name, user name and an empty box where the Password should be showing. I have typed in the "apparently" unsaved password, select the "Save this password in your password list" then selected ok. This works once and downloads mail, but the next time, the same thing happens again. I have removed and (re)created a new account profile, saved password, etc. and the problem still remains. When I recreate the profile then close/reopen Outlook, go back in to check if all info remains, the supposedly saved password box is blank (i.e. apparently not saved). Any ideas?? -- Bob |

You could try the same troubleshooting steps.
