How do I allow a PST folder to accept Unicode?
I tried creating a rule that would transfer messages with the Personal
category from Inbox & Sent Items to a PST folder on my local hard drive. I got a warning message that the folder does not support Unicode, and that moving Unicode messages to this folder could cause loss of information. How do I make the PST folder amenable to accept Unicode messages, to avoid the risk of losing information? |

Oops, I should have read Help first.
What you have to do is create a new folder in the new format, which supports Unicode, then use the File Import/Export feature to transfer folders from the old folder to the new. The whole procedure is detailed quite nicely in a Help item entitled "Convert a non-Unicode data file (.pst) to a Unicode data file (.pst)".
