Default Outlook 2007 multiple profile prompt rut

Switching profiles and always ending up in the same one you opened first?
Here's how to deal with this irritating problem you have probably solved by
rebooting: exit your current profile and WAIT 30-45 seconds before you try
accessing your other profile(s). As simple as that. Forgot to wait and ended
up in the same profile? Don't reboot, just log off and log on again -it's
much quicker. BTW, don't bother checking the Windows Task Manager for this
quirky behaviour.

Another workaround: When you are in the rut, don't close your currrent
Outlook 2007 Profile. Open (Start) your
Windows Task Manager (CTR+ALT+DEL) and END the listed Outlook Task. It works.
