Default Connecting to internet

While I am connected to internet, my MS Outlook dose not connect to.
To save space on my drive, I removed the earlier version of .Net from my
computer, and re-installed MS Office 2007. since then neither of applicatios
of Microsoft Office do not connect to internet.
I have removed and re-installled the office suit, but it did not resolve the
problem.
any idea what should i do in this regards

Regards
M

What is the exact error you get returned when you try to connect?
