Setting "show this folder as email address book" from 'My Contacts
I used a Belkin tansfer cable and software to migrate from XP-Outlook to
Vista Outlook-2007. The transfer was successful and all my contacts are now in my Outlook-2007 "My Contacts". However, when going to the properties for each folder in 'My Contacts' I cannot select "Show this folder as an e-mail address book" (the display is shaded and will not let me select the box). I will appreciate any help to solve this problem.

Setting "show this folder as email address book" from 'My Contacts
So are we to assume used some Windows based transfer utility with this
transfer cable? If so, a quick search of this group would reveal to you that you cannot transfer Outlook data that way because you end up with a corrupt profile. Create a new profile from scratch and transfer data correctly: Open the data file in Outlook and then set it as your default.
