Default Adding Mircosoft Exchange to Outlook 2007

I have a OEM version of Mircosoft Office 2007 Professional running on Windows
Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I have a University e-mail system which uses Mircosoft
Exchange 2003. Can I add this to my outlook so I can view my university
e-mails with looking through Internet Explorer. The instructions given in
Help don't work as I have no Mail module icon in my Control panel to add the
exchange.
