Default Outlook problem with switching identities

Hi,
I have a problem, just installed outlook 2007, created 3 separate accounts,
it was working fine for a week every time I closed outlook and tried to open
it again it always prompted me to choose one of the identities. But now for
some reason it only ask to choose the identity after restarting pc, than when
I close it and open it again it brings me to the last identity I was working
on. I checked the identities and all have prompt for the identity selected.
Any ideas what might be wrong with it?
Thanks for any help

Outlook does not have identities. It uses profiles.

Sounds liek something is keeping Outlook open even when you think it's
closed. See if this helps:
