Default Outlook 2007 Notes Options

Hi
In 2000, if I scrolled in list view to, let's say, around where the notes
starting with "m" were, opened a note and then closed it, my view would still
be looking at the same view around where the m's were.

But in 2007 it seems that as soon as I close the note, the list view swishes
back to the beginning, where the A's are.

I find this really annoying, especially when I'm not sure exactly which "m"
note I am looking for, so I have to "hunt" for the right one by opening
similarly titled "m" notes, one after the other until i find it.

please help!
