I run a PC and two laptops with Outlook 2003 on a wireless network which had
seperate Outlook files on their individual HDDs. I use POP3 mail accounts downloading the mail into my Inbox. I have recently added a NASD Network drive connected direct to the router accessible from all PCs (drive F , and created a common Outlook file on that drive (F so that whichever PC downloads new mail I get the same view whichever PC I next use. First problem, a common Outlook file, solved. My problem is how to mirror the centralised Outlook file on one of the laptops so that when I go away I have a) a copy of the outlook file on that laptop's HDD and b) when I download new mail onto that laptop whilst I am away e.g. on business or holiday I can update the common outlook file on the Network drive with the changes when I next reconnect to the network. |

I believe you need Exchange Server to set up an ost.
MS does not support use of a pst over a network, as it can lead to corruption - so ensure you have backups "Julian" wrote in message ...
