With the new security featuer my Contact Management database cannot send or
receive email through Outlook. It is very frustrating and time consuming to
also have to open Outlook and click on the send/receive button.

"New"? The Outlook "object model guard" security has been in place since June 2000, which seems to be plenty of time for other applications to take advantage of any of the available methods to avoid triggering the security prompts. If your CM application programmers are interested in knowing what those methods are, steer them to http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm
