Default Outlook 2003 GPO question

I'm trying to setup an Outlook 2003 General Policy on our Windows 2000
Domain. In 'Advanced E-mail Options'When Sending a message : Suggest
names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields.

I want to have this item unchecked, not disabled. Using the Outlook 2003
GPO template (outlk11.adm), when I go to enable the configuration and then
uncheck the option, it disables anyone from making any changes to the other
option.

The only options are on by default, or off. Can I just set it so the
'Suggest names while....' is unchecked, not disabled.

Default Outlook 2003 GPO question

The problem is that the administrative template .adm file rolls a bunch of settings into one policy. Perhaps the easiest solution is to create your own .adm file, to supplement Outlk11.adm, and include the registry value you need as a single policy. The .adm file is just a text file, so you can open it in Notepad and search for "suggest names" to find the right setting and can also see the .adm structure so you can make your own. Once you have your own .adm file, import it into the group policy editor as you would any other.
