Default Cheng the path of PST file fter installation of Outlook 2003 using MST

Hi All,

I have installed Outlook 2003 using a MST file. Only reason that I Used MST
file was to create PST file for the users when sign on.

This worked fine PST file was created with out any problems under
%UserProfile%\My Documents\Outlook\%UserName%.Pst

Now I want to change the creation of the PST file so I changed the location
in the MST file uninstalled the Outlook 2003 from the PC restarted,
Installed again with the new MST settings but is still creating PST files in
the original location that was set in the first installation, even for the
users that never signed on to the PC before.

I used Windows Installer CleanUp to remove Outlook 2003 and reinstalled
again without any luck.

I think is not removing the setting to create PST file when I do uninstall.

Can anyone tell me where this setting is kept and how can I completely
remove outlook 2003 from these PC's.

Thanks.

Did you test the .prf file that you created?

Uninstalling Outlook for the sake of changing the .pst file location in the default profile is like taking a sledgehammer to a nail. Have you ever looked at the Custom Maintenance Wizard for making changes to an existing installation?
