Default remote access exchange / synch issues

I'm trying to use outlook 2003 from home to access my exchange account... i
have Outlook Web access, but prefer to use Outlook. I set up access in the
past but somehow downloaded and removed all my emails off the server to my
home computer. How can I set this up properly to make sure I only
synchronize and dont remove emails from the server?

You have to use a true Exchange account, an IMAP account, or a POP account
with the option to leave copies on the server enabled.

If you have an Exchange account and your delivery location is set to be your
Exchange mailbox and not a PST, Outlook will leave the data on the server
automatically. No setting needed. If yuo have the delivery location set to
a PST then that's the problem.
