Default Send/Receive

In outlook 2003 I want it to receive and download e-mails
automatically.......without doing a manual send/receive. What I am looking
for is as soon as an e-mail is sent for my computer to download that message.
Can this be accomplished?

It depends. This is not possible on a POP3 server, but you could make it
Send/Receive automatically more often. Send/Receive options are located
under Tools Options Mail Setup Tab Send/Receive...

If you're on an Exchange server, even over proxy (we use RPC over HTTPS),
items will sync with the Exchange server automatically. Yes, manually
clicking send/receive will instantly grab items off of the server, but there
is really no need because the client should sync with the server
automatically.

Thanks,
Tangent

WIth your Inbox open, press CTRL-ALT-S. Enable the automatic send/receive
and set an interval not less than about ten minutes.
