If you installed Outlook Live, I believe that's the issue. I thought I read
that Outlook Live doesn't have import/export capability. Let's see... Oh,
yea. Here it is:

Thank you for this information. I am obviously a newbie but appreciate any
help I can get. How about helping me understand how to get the contacts and
calendar to syncronize correctly with my outlook. I must have the folders or
something not configured correctly since the calendar on the website is empty
but my outlook calendar is full of my events. Thanks again for your help

drag and drop from your Personal folds file into the same type of file in
the online store. A list-type view is often the best to drag from.
For example, select all your Contacts and drag them into the Contacts folder
in the online store.
