How do I mark task complete when not the owner?

Default How do I mark task complete when not the owner?

I am the author of a task and assigned it to another person. They are now
the owner with the item in my task list -- I used to be able to click the
check mark box to the left of the task when I knew the task was complete.
But, now, after the installation of a new server I can no longer mark the
task as complete
