Personal Folder on Outlook 2003
Hello
One of my users' Personal Folder cannot be opened as it is prompting for a password. The user told me she has never set any password for the Personal Folder. I did a repair on the 900MB pst file but after repairing, the password window still pops up. Is there any way to "disable" the password prompt? By the way, I tried some of the obvious passwords but they all don't help. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Ally |

Personal Folder on Outlook 2003
I suspect someone mistakenly password protected the file.
There is no real easy out for it either (otherwise, what would be the point of a password option?) http://www.lostpassword.com/outlook.htm http://www.elcomsoft.com/prs.html#aolpr If this is not a unicode .pst from Outlook 2003, then a utility called pstupg19.exe might help. Personal Folder on Outlook 2003
Thanks William. I went to Google to search for pstupg19.exe and accidentally
found Atomic Password Cracker. I ran the trial copy and it worked! Thanks for the tips. Ally "William Lefkovics [MVP]" wrote: I suspect someone mistakenly password protected the file.
