![]() "DtTall" wrote in message ... I have the search box open and put my search term into "Look for:" field. The issue is that it only searches within that folder, not in any sub folders. Next to Look For field (the "In" field) click Browse button. A window pos up, tick "Search subfolders" checkbox. PostScript: The reason I have .pst files is because we have a very small amount of space on our personal drives but lots of space on the network drive. So I just have my .pst file out where more storage is available. MS does not support using PST over the network. |

MS does not support using PST over the network. When you say 'does not support' what does that mean? I have the .pst files on a different drive and I can open them in Outlook. The folders all show up in the "All Mail Folders" window. The issue is that when on one of these .pst files (that I can read and write to) is selected the "Search In" box is grayed out and, therefore, I cannot select the "Search Subfolders" option. Thanks for you help. |

sorry for being this obvious. But I had almost the same kind of problem with searching for emails in outlook. I looked up for alternative solutions since I also use a lot of different .pst files and different profiles. However, I need to have access to all of the emails most of the time, and search with in the files and archives. Lookeen does all this fast and in a way which I need. Working with it for about two month now and I'm very happy about this little search plugin. You might be interested... www.lookeen.net
