It's in the same location in all current versions - Tools, Options, Other
tab, Advanced options button. Select the start up folder at the top of the dialog - you'll want to select the very top of the folder tree - it may be marked "personal folders - gary" or similar. (It's moved in Outlook 2010, along with everything else. ![]() -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Poll: What version of Outlook do you use? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=27072 "Gary Metzler" wrote in message ... Select the very top folder - 'Mailbox - xxxxx' from the Folder List View.
This will show you Outlook Today. In order to set it so that it defaults to that, select 'Customize Outlook Today...' from the right hand side. Then simply tick the box labelled 'When starting, go directly to Outlook Today. Regards "Gary Metzler" wrote in message ... Hi Diane, I am using outlook 2003. Hi Diane,
thanks again for all your help. I have another question. I started with office 2000 than upgraded to office 2003. I have some files on my hard drive called mailbox.pst I would like to know if they are leftover from office 2000 and, can I delete them? Any help would be most appreciated. thanks, "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ... It's in the same location in all current versions - Tools, Options, Other tab, Advanced options button.
