Default import contacts from a *.wab file

Yes, it's called Windows Live Mail though (which is a bit different from the
Windows Mail client in Vista) and it can indeed import from a wab-file as
well.

I thought you could download Windows Mail for free in Windows 7. No?

Probably a WAB - Win7 doesn't include a mail/news reader so he can't
reconnect the WAB in Win7.
I don't know if address magic or other app at
http://www.slipstick.com/config/convaddr.htm might be able to import the
disconnected wab into outlook.

Are you talking about Outlook or Outlook Express. *.wab file extensions
are mainly used by Outlook Express and it signifies the Address Book
that OE uses

I upgraded to Windows 7 and saved my contacts in a *.WAB file. Is there
a
way to install these in Outlook?
Thanks

Ah... you need to open the WLM contacts module to import. I looked on the
import menu while in mail and only saw messages - OE and mail have contacts
and account on the import menu.
