Default How do I send a file securely?

Even though it is encrypted? I'm confused - how is that insecure?

I am not sure the recipient's company would allow them to download
freeware - I'm tsicking with encrypted zip.

Which is highly insecure.

Perhaps it's better now, but there have been reports I've read about programs
that can crack Zip encryption by brute force within a fairly short period of
time (hours to days).

WinZip Computing have re-vamped their security specifically to address
security issues, from version 9.
Take a look at http://www.winzip.com/wzdaes.htm for more details.

This is good news as the file was sent out in an encrypted zip file over a
