A coworker noticed when she sent an email addressed to a distribution list
of board members in a Public Contacts folder, the distribution list was expanded when the email was opened by other people on our network. We'd prefer that it stay compressed, the same way that Active Directory distribution groups do, i.e., with the "+Board" sign, rather than with the individual board member emails. Is this possible? Exchange 2003, Outlook 2003. Thanks, Doug |

Personal DLs, whether they are in a public folder or a personal contacts folder, always expand. If they aren't users on the Exchange server, then the Exchange admin just adds them to the global address list as global contacts. -- f.h. Microsoft Outlook MVP |

Thanks, that makes sense.
