Default Outlook, WLM & Forte Agent

How would you compare and contrast the capabilities and limitations of
Outlook and Forte Agent?

Is Microsoft trying to compete with Forte Agent at all -- if so, with what
product?

Correct. Outlook is targeted at a completely different audience and there
were no plans on any kind of Outlook integration with WLM.

MSFT basically wants to separate the two. WLM for home users and Outlook
for business/Pro users. If you're running Outlook you can get the
Outlook
connector which will give you access to your hotmail accounts through
Outlook if that's what you desire, however there are no NNTP features in
Outlook.

Mr.D. Spencer Hines (crossposting maniac)

Please get a life and stop your moronic Trolling. In other words get lost . Most do
not know the game you are playing and what will be the end result after when you
will decide to shift gears to a higher speed

Unfortunately I and many others had the pleasure to find out a few years ago.

Now that you took a sabbatical from these MS newsgroups for the last few years you
are back and starting the same thing and the same way as you did before.

So before you decide to continue please get lost

Forte Agent is NOT a PIM neither does it have PIM cababilities other than an
addressbook.

Forte Agent is a newsreader & pop mail client, as I understand it, Outlook
has no news reader capabilities
The two are not directly comparable.

He is more than quite aware of that. He is playing and trolling. That is his game
until he switches to another speed. Which will come soon
