Default Outlook 2007 Inbox won't show today's Unread Mail until tomorrow

Somehow, my new messages are displayed only in the "Unread Mail" folder.
When I click on them, I can read them in the preview pane and then they
disappear (not in Inbox, Trash, Sent, etc.) until the next day when they are
displayed in the Inbox under the "Yesterday" heading.

I'm sure I clicked something wrong, but I don't know how to fix it so my new
messages are back to being displayed in my Inbox on the day they arrive.

Any help you can give will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I'd start with resetting the view on the Inbox folder.

Thanks, Diane. My messages are now displayed properly and I see today's
messages right there in my Inbox.
