Hi,
we have some weird problems with office (came up first with outlook). Every time you try to access 'my documents' over the office open box it tells you that you do not have the permission to open the folder. My Documents is redirected to a shared location and additionally mapped as a z-drive. The access to that works fine and when the users (out of over 300 may 10) use the 'my documents icon from the desktop or any other place it works. I thought it might be a bug in office 2000 but I just upgraded to 2003 and the error is still there. I checked the redirection to verify that it is correctly mapped (in office) and it is all correct (\\server\home\username). We tried to reinstall office, repair office and to delete the user profile so the it get recreated on next logon but nothing was solving the issue. Any ideas? Anything else I can test? Thanks for your help Kat |
