Default OL2003 multiple forwarding individually?

How do I forward a large number of emails, *individually*, to another email
address?

Thanks in anticipation

Highlight all the emails, right-click and select "forward items". A new
email window will open up, with all the selected emails as individual attac
hments.

(You may fall foul of your iSPs attachment limit if youn try this with too
many.....)

Cheers, but I want to send them as discrete emails. (I'm sending them to my
gmail account).

Then I think unless you forward them one by one, you will have to write some
code to do it for you.

do they have a common keyword or criteria that you can use in rules? if so,
create a rule to forward and run it on the folder now.

Hi Diane

Thanks for replying.

Not sure what you mean there?

I want to be able to effectively backup my 'offline' email folders on OL2003
by forwarding them all to my new gmail account.

Regards

assuming you mean each message, not the actual pst file, if you are
forwarding everything, create a rule with no conditions and forward to the
gmail account. You can either do this as they arrive or use "run rules now"
to do it on a regular basis.

I see what you mean now I can get that to work.

A further question, Is there any way I could 'forward' it so that it arrives
in my gmail account as if sent by the original sender?

Only if you use Outlook in an Exchange environment. If so, you should use
the "Redirect" in your rule, not forward.

only by forwarding as attachment - you can read and reply to the attachment.
I *think* it will work with Gmail, but it might work differently in web
based email.
