I''ve been experienceing a periodic and somewhat inconsistant problem
whereby all of the settings I establish under the Organize" feature will suddenly just dissapear. For example, all color-coding of the inbox will dissapear and everything will revert back to black text on a white background. I'm running Office Outlook 2003 SP2. Does anyone know where these settings are stored so that I could restore them if they disappear again? I had though they would be tied to the ".rwz" file but as there is no such file on the system this can not be the answer. Many thanks, -Paco |

1. The .rwz file is only in older versions and has nothing to do with
organize - it is where rules were stored. 2. Try Detect and Repair. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Detect and repair does not in any way restore customized "organize"
parameters... but the view andgle is interesting... Are you saying that if I saved the current view after using the Orginaze function that I could simply call back that customized view and regain all of the color-coding policies? Still grateful... thanks, -Paco |

use the copy view option to save it and yes, you can restore it as long as
you don't use the cleanviews switch. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Paco" wrote in message oups.com...
