I never said anything about the OE DATA files.

The data files in OE are kept in the folder named in Tools, Options,
Maintenance, Store Folder. That is different for each user. I do
not remember the default location, but I don't think it is in
Program Files.

Same approach, both programs.
OE and Outlook programs are both found in Program Files.
OE and Outlook data files are both found in the User Profile.

Thank you!

Why hide them so thoroughly?

OE is right out in the open -- under Program Files.

Outlook itself only seems to take about 33 MB.

Right?

So is Office. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11

It's better to remove it in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. A Change
install of Office will allow you to remove just Outlook.

Other Outlook files can be found in %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook and
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook and those won't be deleted byu the uninstall.

Oops. I though you had Vista. Outlook's configiuration files are in
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook and
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook on Windows
XP.
