I went to view my deleted emails but was unable to. The properties screen
says they are auto archived every 14 days, I was able to turn that off. But I would like to find them since I have not permenantly deleted them myself. The properties screen also gives a location , I looked but could not find it. Please help me. |

The default location for Personal Folders files is a hidden folder. Enable viewing hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer's Folder Options and then you'll be able to use Outlook to open the archive PST with FileOpenOutlook Data File. Also, when happens if you click (in Outlook) ToolsOptionsOtherAutoarchive and check the box labeled "Show archive folder in folder list"? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

What's the archive setting for automatically deleting them? If they've been automatically deleted, they are GONE. |

Everything you said to do was already done but I am still unable to view
them. They were not set to delete only to auto archive. "Brian Tillman" wrote: rtktaylor wrote: I went to view my deleted emails but was unable to. Open Windows Explorer and in teh Address bar, enter %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and click Go. Do you see anything called an "Outlook data file", whose name is "Archive"? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
