Default Problem with exported distribution lists and Outlook 2003

Hi all,

I've defined several distribution lists in my "Contacts" folder, some
of them containing other distribution lists defined by me too. That
way I can build hierarchical distribution lists. All is working fine
for me.

I've shared my distribution lists. When someone uses a distribution
list that contains another one then the included list is not expanded
although all is OK if this sub-list is used alone.

Is there a way to make all that working or is it a known limitation of
Outlook 2003 that doesn't support the export of super-lists containing
sub-lists?

Thanks for your help.

Importing and exporting DLs is always an iffy proposition and frankly, I am surprised that your DLs survived export at all. Simply send your DL to your co-worker using an RTF formatted message into which you attach your DL using Insert-Item. This may work but no guarantees.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, asked:
