Hi. I use Outlook 2003 in WinXP.
I have a contact in address book. When I send him an e-mail, in my Sent Items his name in some e-mails appears like Alan Smith and in anothers like 'Alan Smith' separately. How can I make it just Alan Smith (without quotes). The company doesn't use Exchange. In address book Full Name and Display as are different - without quotes. Thanks in advance. EmilH. |

Sorry I meant 'In address book Full Name and 'Display as' are same - without
quotes.' instead of 'In address book Full Name and Display as are different - without quotes.' "EmilH" wrote in message ... Hi. I use Outlook 2003 in WinXP. I have a contact in address book. If in Sent Items you see some messages to this person with his name in apostrophes and some not, I suspect that the ones without are ones that you initiated to him and that the ones with are ones in which you were replying to messages he sent to you. Can you verify this? If so, then the issue is caused because he's sending you messages that way, since he controls what you'll see in the sender header. If not, there are a number of other reasons why they might appear this way. In any event, it really doesn't matter. It's completely cosmetic. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Thanks for responding, Brian. What if this is the case? How can I override
the sender's settings? How can I make all of them appear the same way? "Brian Tillman" wrote in message ... EmilH wrote: I have a contact in address book.
