Hi,
I've build a rule with the rules wizard to copy messages from IMAP-Inbox folder to my personal folder. When Outlook detects a mail that should go to the Junk-E-Mail folder on the IMAP Server it copys the message to the Junk E-Mail folder but I also get a copy of that message in my personal inbox folder. How can I modify the rule to avoid these symptoms? Thanks in advance. -Bodo |

Does the messages in the IMAP Inbox that get marked as spam and copied to the Junk E-mail folder still show in the IMAP Inbox with the "marked for deletion" strike-through? I would not expect the behavior you see, but if the rule still processes the message because it's technically still in the Inbox, I can understand it. The problem with that, though, is there is no "except if the item is marked as deleted" exception so you can't move message except when they're marked as deleted. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

![]() Thanks Brian, Does the messages in the IMAP Inbox that get marked as spam and copied to the Junk E-mail folder still show in the IMAP Inbox with the "marked for deletion" strike-through? Yes that's true it seems that the Outlook rules are processed prior to the junk-mail process. Are there any other options? Thanks Bodo |
