Default Palm Desktop still needed?

Being a person who uses a Palm M130 with Outlook 2002, I would say
that you should definitely not delete the Palm Desktop even though you
haven't needed to use it yet.

One thing that is controlled by that app is the Hot Synch facility. I
don't know whether you could even perform a hot synch without the Palm
Desktop. There are times when you want to control a hot synch as to
whether the handheld overwrites the data in your computer or visa
versa. That control is accessed via the menu choice in Palm Desktop:
HotSynch/Custom.

There's an old saying that "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I'd
take that advice.

Probably not but uninstalling it might remove other things you need.
