Default Outlook 2003 cached mode question

Dear All,

Exchange 2003 SP2, Outlook 2003, some users in a remote office
configured Outlook with cached mode (no problem). Question is : they
would like to open a second mailbox in the same Outlook profile, also
in cached mode.

Is that possible ?

The only solution I am thinking about is to have a dual profile (but
in this case they cannot open both mailboxes at the same time...).

Thanks for your help !

Regards,

Luuke

On the properties of the Exchange Server service in the Outlook profile, on
the Advanced tab, there should be an area where you can configure it to open
other mailboxes. I'm sure there's a limit, but I was opening almost 10
recently.

While you can add more mailboxes to the profile, those mail folders can not
be cached. If caching is a requirement, you'll need multiple profiles.

Yes, I can see this.
I did the test to unplug the network cable, I was only able to see the
content of the "main" mailbox, accessing the second one gave the
"unable to display folder" message.
I found the registry key : HKCU\Softwre\policies\Microsoft\Office
\11.0\Outlook\Cached Mode, do you know the values for the
CachedExchangeMode key ?

Thanks for your help.

secondary's can't cache email, only non mail folders, as per the settings on
the same tab.
