I am using Outlook 2007 w/bcm in single user environment. I noticed that my
start-up command includes the switch "/recycle" (set by Office installation. When I look up the switch commands on the MS web site it says that the recycle switch should be used in conjunction with /folders or /explorer. I did not see these switches listed and I was wondering if someone could explain to me if I should be have it switched the way it is presently or make some changes. -- Neil |

Does it work the way you want it to? If yes, then no, you shouldn't make any changes. If no, then yes, you should make changes. -- f.h. |

Outlook usually works fine but sometimes I have problems when exiting and
some other minor issues and do not know if it has anything to do with the switches -- Neil "F.H. Muffman" wrote in message ... Thanks for the explanation, do you suggest any other switches to be added to
my normal short cut? -- Neil "Diane Poremsky" wrote in message ... recycle means it reuses the window - if you click the shortcut 5 times you'll only get one window, not 5. it doesn't require folders or explorer switches but is handy if you use them as it keeps you from opening a lot of windows. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Remove ABCD from Email address to reply" wrote in message ...
