Default Outlook 2003 Find/Search Problem

I have had a handful of users report to me that their search results when
using the Find feature in Outlook are incomplete. After examining a few
machines, I can confirm that Find seems to be incomplete, in fact, it seems
to stop about a week into the past, regardless of how far back a user may
have email.

I know I could install a 3rd party app to address this, but I want to know
why the built-in Find feature seems to be corrupt (or perhaps the mailbox is
corrupt?)

Anyone seen this before and have a solution to repair it?

WinXP SP2
Office XP, Outlook 2003, latest SP for each
Exchange server 2003 SP2

Thanks.

Is this using advanced find? If yes, check the parameters to ensure it says "anytime" and not last week or last 7 days or whatever.
