![]() Does anyone know anything about this in 2007? Is it a bug or am I missing something? When I send an meeting request and the other receipient proposes a new time, I get a response back but there is no "accept" button. I have to manually update the meeting time. Setup: - both ends are OL2007 - both ends uses pst files - no exchange server involved - both ends connect to an IMAP server TIA 1001001100100 |

It is either rich text or html but I can't determine which since there is no "view source" option on meeting requests. My normal messages to this user (as opposed to meeting requests) are HTML as are the responses. The request/reply is sent via SMTP and contains the following headers amoung others: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/calendar; method=REPLY; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook 12.0 Content-Language: en-us The exact build of Outlook that we both are using is: Application name Outlook Version 12.0 Build 4518 -- TIA 1001001100100 |

My normal messages to this user (as opposed to meeting requests) are HTML as are the responses. If you each have the other in your Contacts folder, open that contact record and double-click the e-mail address. In the Internet FOrmat drop-down at the bottom of the dialogue box that appears, make sure the value is "Let Outlook decide..." so that the contact record value isn't overriding what you've chosen in ToolsOptionsMail Format (or whatever the OL 2007 equivalent is). The request/reply is sent via SMTP and contains the following headers amoung others: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/calendar; method=REPLY; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook 12.0 Content-Language: en-us Do you have iCalendar format enabled for Internet messages? I guess you do, fro the above. Make sure the contact record isn't overriding the format, then try toggling the iCalendar option to the opposite of what you have. -- Brian Tillman |
