Favorite Folders will not hold

Default Favorite Folders will not hold

I set up a favorite folder. Close Outlook 2003. Immediately reopen Otlook.
Favorite foler that I set up is not in the Favorite section. Hhave to place
folder in Favorite section again. What am I doing wrong?

Default Favorite Folders will not hold

after closing outlook confirm in task manager that outlook.exe really is
closed. if it doesn't close properly, the nav pane changes aren't saved. You
can try opening outlook using the /resetnavpane switch - it usually fixes
it.
