Default OUTLOOK 2000 task problems

My secretary is running MS XP home and Office pro 2000 SP3.
I send task requests to her and she cannot open them, she can see
them
in the list but cannot open them. What can we do to solve this?
Thanks
Stu

what version are you using? are you sending them as RTF? click on her email
address in the task and see if it's set for always use rtf.

double click on her address in the To field. if it brings up a contact,
double click the address. there is an option at the bottom which usually
says let outlook choose the best format. set it to use rtf. if this fails
it's an incompatibility between the new version and Outlook 2000.

outlook's special items need to be rtf if you are sending to an internet
address.

I think they must be RTF, as the "real" message contains a WINMAIL.DAT
package for Outlook.
Still, tasks cannot be opened since KB924085 was installed.

I'm actually using 2003, but I understand people are having the same trouble
from 2000 to 2007.
