Default Move message after being read and closed

I am trying to figure out how I can have a message automatically moved to a
specific folder after being read and closed. I am not familiar enough with
Outlook VBA to do this. Anyone have any ideas how I can accomplish this?

you could get a 3rd party program to do it for you... I use auto-mate, but
there are others.

Not sure why the OP would want to do it that way - if the OP is using
Outlook 2003 then set up a rule to move the message to the appropriate
folder, but it will still appear as unread in the Unread Mail folder, no
matter what folder it's in....

I like to move them (to a folder called completed) after I'm done with them
so they are not mixed in with my unfinished mail. I mark them complete and
auto-mate moves them for me. I also use it to move less important messages,
such as web stats or mailing list messages x hours after they arrive.
