Default Duplicate email allowed

Is there a check or process inside of Outlook 2003 that will check to make
sure that there is not a duplicate of the email that is being moved into a
folder.

I have found by accident that several folders have duplicates, of course,
using up memory unnessecarily. Why would Microsoft allow such a waste to
begin with surprises me..

No I have to use another plug-in to find and delete duplicates.

Thanks
jjjslj

No
Duplicates often caused by AV plugins

Thanks, but what I have found is that if I accidently move an email from one
..pst to another, or if I am importing from a BU, then there doesn't seem to
be any checks to warn that there is already an email in the destination .PST
file.

Thanks
