I recently switched from OE to Outlook on my home computer. I imported all
of my email messages without a hitch. Now, I'd like to archive messages over six months old, but it appears that the archive function uses the messages' creation date as their age, not the sent/received date. Since I imported them a week ago, Outlook sees all imported messages as being created a week ago (even those that I received a year ago). So none of them are being archived right now. And in six months, they'll all be archived at once. Two things could solve this problem: 1. having Outlook archive by the sent/received date (instead of by creation date), or 2. overwriting the creation date of the imported messages with their sent/received date. Does anyone have any insight into this problem? Thanks JBW |
