outlook error message.....help
After installing Office 2000, I get the following error only for Outlook when I open it: OUTLOOK.EXE - Application Error. The application failed to initialize properly(0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application. I have tried the repair option, than unistalled and reinstalled and neither of those solved the problem. I am running windows XP Pro with SP2. If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this problem I would appreciate the help. I've experienced the same error as of this morning. I can't even get Outlook
to launch. When I do, I ge the following error message: Error Signature AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.2416 ModName: mcmapi.dll ModVer: 7.0.1.3 Offset: 0000369f Can someone shed some insight as to why this is suddenly happening and how to fix it? Thanks, LGH "Rooney" wrote: I am getting the same message of lately...perhaps related to the latest Security patches for January.....hopefully someone will reply here.
