I have installed Windows Live Local (and uninstalled several times) and my
appointments now have a location tab. But I am unable to enter any address information for directions, it's all grayed out - and a message on the tab page says I need to install Windows Live Local, which I already have. An earlier version did work, but I downloaded the latested version after it stopped working. What could be stopping it from working? |

Any number of things, which your lack of specificity of versions precludes us from knowing.

Windows XP Pro, Office 2003 Pro, IE 6.
I was trying to set up an appointment in Outlook, and have previously been able to use the Location tab to map directions to the meeting, but now the location tab shows a window telling me all of the great features of Windows Live Local, but that I need to install it. When I have ininstalled Windows Live Local the location tab goes away. I was able to map out the routes previous to the latest version, but all of these routes are now gone. Can this information help you figure out what the problem is here? Thanks Mich "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote in message ...
