just wondering if there is a setting somewhere?
to use word as the editor.
like in outlook.

Wouldn't it be easy enough to try it for yourself? The answer appears to
be "no." You're not using any sort of word processor when using OWA.

No such setting exists. OWA is a pure web interface. It cannot use
anything on your PC.
